1. Perform System Update

$ sudo apt update

Now, you can install the Protobuf library on your system by running the below command:
$ sudo apt install protobuf-compiler
Once the installation process of the Protobuf library on your Linux Mint 20 system will begin, you will be asked for confirmation which you will have to provide by pressing the key displayed on the terminal.

3. A permission dialogue box will get open click on "Remove" to uninstall the application.
And now protobuf will be uninstalled successfully and no longer exist in the list.
