Steps to Install VidCutter on a Linux Mint 20 System

We can install VidCutter on Linux Mint 20 by performing the outlined steps.

1. Update the System

To ensure that the system is up to date, it is recommended that you update it using the below command:

$ sudo apt update

2. Install the Snap Daemon

Here, install Snap Daemon with the help of the APT package manager by running the below command:

$ sudo apt install snapd

3. Install VidCutter through the Snap Daemon:

Now, we will install VidCutter on our Linux Mint 20 system by running the below command:

$ sudo snap install vidcutter

After Installation, you will see the VidCutter version installed via the system's terminal.

4. Launch VidCutter

To get started with VidCutter, simply launch it through the terminal with the below command:

$ vidcutter

How to Uninstall VidCutter from a Linux Mint 20 System?

We can use the Snap Daemon to remove VidCutter from our system as well by executing the following command:

$ sudo snap remove vidcutter
